I see a ray of hope in that, especially the supermajority requirement for revision. The legislature, given all the work they have done in passing marriage equality, is not likely to simply roll over on the issue. There is something to be said for the slim majority Prop 8 passed by. Also, the thousands of existing marriages are the 800 pound gorilla in the room, especially when weighed against the continuing recognition in the other SSM-friendly states. It's not going to be easy to stuff this genie back into it's bottle.
