Circus of the Sun

Jeff and I got back from seeing Cirque du Soleil's "Ovo" a little while ago. It's a terrific show, as all of them are (well, at least the ones we have seen). It's typical Cirque, with an engaging story, audience participation, cool costumes, sensuous dance, traditional as well as off-the-wall circus acts, etc. I highly recommend this one if it comes to your neighborhood.

Unlike the Rush concert last week, our enjoyment was not hampered by standees and drunks. And no real spinal cord failures either. Life was good. It was a nice wrap-up to a pretty productive day here at Casa Mayhem. Even Kodi got his hair did at the groomer.

Sounds like a great time. I'm not sure if they come to KC, but I'll keep an eye out for them. I'd like to go to something without having to deal with disruptive people. I don't mind people that are having fun, but they seem to cross over into having fun at the expense of others.
