One step forward, two steps back. Damn, it gets frustrating! Healing isn't a steady process, there are lulls and setbacks, and unexpected turns. You've had major surgery, Phil, and you've been VERY active recently. Of course your body is gonna go "whaa?" I hope this spate of bad symptoms is just a hump in the road, and you and your docs can make your way toward fuller mobility. It may take months instead of the weeks you might be expecting. In my experience, it took nearly six months for the surgical site to calm down and stop swelling or aching or doing something that affected my hearing or jaw motion. Not all of that was feeling bad, but the flare-ups eventually came less frequently.
It sucks when planned treats have to be cancelled. Disappointing and frustrating. Damn! Glad the roof is done! *Big HUG*
