Glad it went well...I must say when I saw you wrote 'tying the knot' I immediately knew you were doing a handfasting - and glad to read further that it was true.

If I was ever to marry John, that's what I'd like to do. I suspect he'd say no, because of the possibly religious connoitations, but it's the only symbology that makes sense to me, much more than rings.
