Anyone who has a cat and a computer knows exactly how these things happen.

Explains a lot, doesn't it? I can just see a steaming fundie looking at the funnies and gritting teeth, a thought that pleases me to no end.

Apropos of nothing in this entry, I've noticed you're using a very pleasant-looking font in your journal these days. What's the name of the font, and is it freely available somewhere?

JOhn (font junkie).

The font I am using here is Maiandra GD. As for where to find it, I at first thought it was installed with Firefox, but I've found it might not be the case. So, it rode in when I installed some graphic app. As such, my journal defaults to Arial on some screens unless the browser is set up to display something similar in a font substitution table. I've noticed a few unrelated pages I have surfed around to in the past using it, so I assumed it was part of a fairly standard loadset and used it here.

Now, as for your case, if you are seeing it, it's already on your PC. You've already got it, or something very close.

I somehow have it on my work machine, but not my home machines. I'll have to copy the fonts from my PC at work so I can install them on my Macs.

Thanks, sir!

JOhn.

Wow! That really explains a lot of people, present and past, that have crossed my path. I'd wonder, "how can THAT person EVER have been made in the image of God??"
