eBay for dummies

Word to the wise: If you sell something on eBay, it's wise to expect the buyer to resell that item once again on eBay for a tidy little profit.

If I were the original seller, I'd be just a bit peeved...

I did that with a house once. Bought it, before I ever closed I had an offer, went to two closings in one week on the same house. Other than the time I first saw it I never went inside. The profit paid off the mortgage on the house I had at the time and the income taxes!

I doubt the buyer paid -- if you look at the bidding history, it's one of
the most blatant bidding syndicate/shill jobs I think I've ever seen.

Apparently the 500,000 bid was a joke bid, so they guy didn't get that.
