I don't need to be reminded. I remember.
I will never forget. I'd like to see someone even try.
I have many friends who suffered great loss on this day six years ago, they feel that pain every day since. I still see it in their eyes, and their voices when they speak of that day.
On that horrible day I saw not only people in this country come together as one, but from all over the world as well. We were all New Yorkers. We all worked at the Pentagon. We gathered in a field in Pennsylvania. We were united like no time I can recall.
Sadly, though, the world, and this country, is more divided and uncertain than ever.
It's important to remember the horrors of That Day. But I think it's almost more important to never forget the good will, the outreach and the unity. Because if we can achieve that once again, we will have a great deal less to worry about.
