I am waaaay behind in my perusal of my friends list entries. If I missed something of note, drop me a comment. Given the number of folk on my roster, if I am away from home from any length of time, I can get overwhelmed.

I'm in the same boat. I was able to post pics of our Palm Springs vacation while I was there but had virtually no time to read any friends journals. I don't have much to work on here at work so at least I'll have some time to go back and read.

I just posted a bunch of pics from the trip but if you want to see, they are in a set on my flickr (http://www.flickr.com/photos/75234072@N00/sets/72157603217362120/).

That was me some weeks back. I went away for a few days without internet access and came back to 67 pages worth of catch-up... and I caught up, diligently. No more of that. After my recent LJ headaches, I was away for 12 days (with access, mind you) and chose not to read LJ, minus making a minor post and checking a few journals for updates on stuff I was anticipating.

It is overwhelming. Completely consuming.

I decided that it was not so important that I couldn't just let it go. However, during all the time I placed such focus and importance on LJ, I was inseparable from it, it from me.

I see! As usual, many wonderful shots in square format b&w of hotness, including you and your arms. What's not to like?

Looks like you guys had a blast! I need to get out west again.

A while back, I posted some lj-ready icons of your morphing beard in a more insane speed. Dunno if you got 'em.

I resort to skimming entries when there is a lot of catching up to do, and I still miss a lot. I cant put as much into LJ lately as I have in the past.

I believe it was [livejournal.com profile] naylandblake who coined the term "LJ bankruptcy". If you miss x days and come back to jillions of unread posts, it's perfectly ok to just start from "today". No one will get angry.

I saw those when I was on vacation and had meant to save them to my home computer. Thank you for reminding me and for doing that for me. HUGS!

I dunno... I've seen people flounce and gripe when their meticulously crafted entries go uncommented and they throw a fit. I lost what I thought was a good friend of many years on this thing when he got into a snit after posting an involved entry and he felt it was being ignored. He then proceeded to berate his readership in another entry then began posting silly memes and kitty pictures in an effort to equate the LJ reader as being shallow. Well, I called him on it in my own post, and that apparently crumbled his fragile ego and he hates me to this day. Not much of a loss for me.

Problem was, he posted on a Saturday. You know that LJ tends to fly in a holding pattern on weekends.

I try to keep up with those I feel are important to me. It's not always possible though.

Yeah, clearly he wasn't actually a friend.

That really sucks, and I am sorry you had to go through that.

Real friends "get it".
