I am beginning to wonder why I have nice furniture and such when a lot of it is just something for the dog to chew on and ruin.

It looks like I should peruse my friends list for recent entries resembling one I am about to post. Apparently having it show up more than a couple times in other's flists is cause for consternation and counterposts.

I seem to have misplaced the USB thumbdrive that contained the text of the next article I wrote about hardware versus service. I'm hoping it's at work.

My tinnitis is bugging me today more than it has in a while. I dont know if it's actually worse, or I am just focusing on it too much.

I really cant stand 'reality television'. If those programs are actually representative of 'reality' in the US, then give me a whole lotta fantasy, science fiction and rock 'n' roll.

I feel your pain. I have had tinnitus day in and day out for 14 years. It varies in severity, but it is always there.

Do you have dizziness, too?

No, just the tinnitis. Every now and then, unrelated, I will have minor dizzy spells when I am sick.

I hear you about the tinnitus. Sometimes I don't notice it, other times, like this evening, it is ringing loud and clear. For me, it is a reminder that someday I will lose my hearing entirely. It is chronic in my family. I won't let it get to me though. Long before then, I'll make preparations to live with deafness. I won't allow myself to be relegated to a corner where I will just smile and nod at people.

As far as misplacing things go, if I had a dime for everything I have misplaced, I would be wealthy.

I have tinnitis, have had it since about 2000 and I think my older PC's have had some cause for it's appearance, but age is apart of it too I think.

I also get a roaring like noise some days that's not tinnitus at all, but all in my head or if not a rushing like noise, it's something akin to muzak at very low volumes playing in my head that has nothing to do with the hearing at all.

I've heard it said that thinking about tinnitus can make it louder, and I can believe that. I was actually thinking of getting one of those earpieces that are supposed to help cancel out the noise, but they're expensive, and I probably wouldn't feel comfortable wearing it when I most need it, which is when I try to get to sleep.

Many years ago, I bought a coffee table that had been made from an antique libary table. Once I learned the value of the table, I decided to have it restored, at a cost of $1000, however it was then appraised at $5000. One day, I came home from work to discover that my Corgi had chewed the leg off the table. This was not the first or last time a pet spoiled an antique for me. I had a cat break a $3000 bowl and a dog break a $2000 vase.

Currently I own no pets.

It's not your responsibility to make sure that no one else, in a given set of days, has posted something with subject matter or style similar to yours. Tell anyone who complains to go fuck themselves. It's your journal; it's their problem. :)

I call them "Partially scripted game shows" or "Bad Improv game shows". Reality? Doesn't intersect with this realm.
