BTW, I've noticed that by the mid 90's we had brickwalled recordings, I have several CD's from that period, namely Hootie and the Blowfish, Blues Traveler to name 2 that have over recorded their stuff.
Mind you, poorly processed stuff has been around for years, BTO Anyone?
