Being part of the BMW cult, driving my M3 to this event or that (I preferred the autocrosses to the race track schools but that's just me), being part of a group of similarly minded crazies who think as you do. It felt so good at the time.
You're much more the gearhead than I ever was. You can successfully take it apart and reassemble it with minimal bloodshed. That must lend an extra helping of appreciation to events such as these. Envy, envy, envy!
