For me, there is something always comforting about having chocolate chip cookies and a big glass of milk, even if the cookies are store bought and a bit stale. Of course, absolute nirvana in this case would be fresh, out-of-the-oven homemade cookies and milk that is near tooth-shattering cold. One of these days I am going to have to do some baking.

Question: What is your favorite "comfort snack"?

Those are pretty good. I love me some 'tater chips, my favorites being Utz Naturals. If I am not careful, I can destroy a bag in no time.

What is it about Pringles? They can make them taste like anything. Even pizza. And they are addicting.

Pie. Cherry is best, but most anything with a flaky crust'll do.

Cinnamon toast with chocolate milk always gave me warm fuzzies, especially when it's made with mom's homemade bread.

Mmmm ... PEPPERONI ROLLS ...

OK, granted, chocolate chip cookies and cold milk constitutes a GREAT comfort snack. But since you ask, I'm fond of pepperoni rolls, which you are not likely to find outside of West Virginia, specifically the north-central part of the state. Slices of pepperoni are rolled up in bread dough or pizza dough, sometimes with cheese, and baked. My local Kroger grocery stores sell wonderful, hopelessly greasy pepperoni rolls for about $1.89. Pop one in the microwave for a minute or so, and instand high-calorie bliss.

Ooh, I was gonna go with the borwnie bit as well! I love them when they're still warm, squishably-soft and chewy, but have that chocolate flaky top that just...well, flakes off.

Also, Funyuns. And Grandma's Cookies that are either Choclate chip or the Lemon Iced type.

Well if cookies are stale put them in the microwave on 50% for 20 seconds...and then every ten seconds until they are JUST purrrrfect ;)

My Favorite "comfort snack" has to be either Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip Ice Cream at Graeter's or Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough ice cream. Pint size is always the best :) By the way, why do they say serves "FOUR" when I can go through one in like 15 minutes? LOL
