Bearotic.com has a look at an honest-to-goodness "bear fashion show" (link not entirely safe for work) highlighting designer Walter Van Beirendonck's (name SO apropos) latest collection for men. If nothing else, there's bound to be some eye candy for those of you into hirsute pursuits. For those of you into the fashion scene, there's a lot here to get the comments rolling.

To make it more worth your while, (most of) the clothes come off at the end.

[livejournal.com profile] thornyc beat them to the punch and reported on this a while back.

I would totally wear a pair of Wonde® uwear but don't want to tap out my 401K...

I missed out on that, I'm always late out of the gate around LJ. And elsewhere. I don't always make it all the way through my flist after being offline for a while, that's another big reason.

Some of those outfits are kinda sharp. As for the undies, I aint got that kind of build.

Where is he based, and where was the fashion show. I wouldn't mind one of those crop-sleeve button-down shirts.

The only design I liked was the polo shirt. But most of those models were really cute.

The bear 'scene' has become one big caricature of itself. A marketing tool for some people to make money. I am officially post bear.

"Post-bear" will undoubtedly become the next big thing. After all, with so many people declaring themselves as such, it's a perfect target demographic now.

Post-bear t-shirts, cawfee mugs, shaving kits, depilatory cremes, jewelry, etc, etc.

I need venture capital. This is gonna be big.
