Shame SNL does this region-locked content business...can't see it. As with most stuff on Hulu or NBC actually...I usually have to hunt on YT for ripped content.

I detest the practice of geo-locking content, and I tried to find a YouTube or other 'open' site version before posting. I know people read my entries from all over, and hulu is one of the site I only will incorporate as a last resort. NBC scours YT et al for their content continuously and takes it down. Since hulu buries the stream in DRM and redirects so heavily, it's impossible to grab the stream and rip it for hosting on my own servers. I hate when I post a video or link to another site only to have the content taken down soon afterwards. My LJ gets filled with missing links. I'd rather have the stuff always available.
