greatbearThe other day I picked up a cane to help me through my latest round of ailments. I immediately personalized it with my increasingly common phrase:
After spending about a half hour wedged into a MRI machine like a torpedo about to be fired, it appears all the hell I put my lower back through over the years my back has its vengeance. More unwanted disability spent at home and future vacations and trips uncertain. I'll know more in a couple weeks.
It's hell getting old.

Date: 2010-04-22 03:02 pm (UTC)But I do have to add heartfelt hopes for a full recovery soon. And to echo what twostroker said above, I once had a terrific experience with a chiropractor and total healing of some back pain.
But, you have to ask around and get recommendations. After he died, I visited another chiropractor who took over the practice and was less than satisfied. The new guy was totally about soaking you for all the insurance monies he could manage to get his hands on. I think there are quite a few who do that....
