Improvements

Jeff has been moved out of the ICU into an intermediate room. Kinda like a standard hospital room, but with a little bit more available care. This is good news! He called a while ago to tell me of his move, I was there last night when the doc said he would be moved in the morning if things were looking up.

I came home yesterday completely spent, had a little snack, kept the pooch and the puss company for a little while, then grabbed a shower and fell into bed much earlier than I normally do. I don't even remember my head hitting the pillow. About twelve hours later, I awoke in a groggy, sore and stiff haze. Jeff called with the good news not soon afterward, and my day got a lot brighter.

Thank you to everyone who left kind messages for him and me. Your good thoughts are definitely working.

I'm working backwards, trying to catch up after being unable to access LJ for days. I'm glad to be starting with good news first.

I don't know what happened, but Jeff being in the ICU can't be good.

However, I am very, very, very happy to hear he has been moved out of the ICU and is making progress in recovering.
