Set an empty place at the table

greatbearJulia Child, everyone's favorite chef and inspiration to countless thousands, died yesterday, just shy of her 92nd birthday.
Even though cookking was never my forte, I'd always stop my channel surfing when I'd come across Julia in the kitchen, her gentle, warbling voice wafting about along with the undoubtedly wonderful aromas in her kitchen. My mom would be inspired by her show on occasions and make the same dish. Like mom just told me, "she was a good egg".
I'm gonna miss her dearly.
