Please try supplementing with Magnesium L-Threonate along with a good B-complex with Vita C for your adrenals. The Mag T will really help your muscles relax and help your brain process the constant effects of stress (plus it sharpens cognitive processing and helps fight apathy, depression and memory loss) and the B and C vitamins will support your adrenals. Chronic pain will deplete your adrenals' capacity to support you during the stress of pain.
