Ooooh, a toughie!
This is a bit of a cheat, I know, but I would want to keep my Victorinox SwissTool. This is a Leatherman-style all-in-one tool that has knives, screwdrivers, pliers and a few other bits. Put me on a desert island with just this tool (I don’t even need clothes, I’ll make my own. Maybe.) and I could build a nice little home there.

Date: 2005-03-16 06:52 am (UTC)The Swiss Tool was our favorite tool on our nine month roadtrip around Australia in the LandCruiser. And it got used for everything from spreading cheese on crackers to tightening power steering hose clamps in the middle of the desert.
In particular, I love the way you can get at tools without totally unfolding it. Always handy!
