Pride roll call

Okay, who in my grand circle of LJ hominids is planning to attend DC and/or Baltimore Pride and/or festivals? I've more or less fallen out of touch with most of my DC friends that I used to hang with, and the Cheapskate Bay Bears more or less have snubbed me for whatever reason the past couple years. As such, I havent attended the DC Pride parade since I pulled a float for a few years for the CBBs, so I have only done the street festival there. Since Baltimore has their parade followed by the block party, I havent missed that lately.

If there is going to be a LJ contigent at either of these, I'd like to stop by and socialize and hang out. Otherwise, I will probably skip DC altogether and just stick with Baltimore's. That's always fun.

Mark and I might go down to DC for the parade, and we'll definitely be at Baltimore Pride, since it happens three blocks from our house.

I've skipped DC pride the last couple of years because it's really not that much fun... because it's DC.

I'm already busy this weekend, unfortunately, but I'm making a resolution as of the end of this play to focus on being more social again. I have a tendency to disappear for months at a time (due to calendarial overcommitteditis^*) but after June I will actually be Seeing People^tm again.

Have fun! I may set my sights on making it out next year.

* I may need a calendectomy

Balty to me definitely has it over DC in the fun department. More laid back, intimate and down to earth IMO. Plus, there seems to be more big burly bears there.

I'm on the fence about Baltimore Pride.. I think it's supposed to be next weekend? If I do go I'll be the one with the black shirt with the flames on it.

if you should go to DC's, I know our friend at Sirius OutQ lfkbear is going to be there at the OutQ booth. You could always stop by and grope him say Hi.
