PC problems redux, pride leftovers

I finally sorted out some of the issues I had run into with this PC. Luckily, with the new LaCie monster drive and some patience, I saved most of what I lost in the drive crash. I had just about all the unsaved pictures still on the memory cards and microdrives in the cameras, and most of the other files were in other odd places like thumbdrives. In the next few days, I will make hard copies to DVDs of the 'precious' stuff. A new HD is in order for this PC to replace the hosed one. While it will mount, it won't format, so I am sure that my data is residing as fine dust inside the drive by now.

I am waiting for someone to send me pics of the float in action, since I could not take pictures of it during the parade because, well, I had to drive. For the time being, I am all 'prided' out.
