Cancelled

Camping trip to Hillside this weekend is cancelled. It's Car Show weekend, and I can't very well show off a wrecked car. My mood is rage peppered with disgust, and a couple other tidbits conspired to make me just give up camping all together rather than just leaving the car home.

I'm staying home to do yard work tomorrow through the weekend instead. Maybe I will go to P-Town next week. That I feel has been tainted too.

Not severe by any means, but until I make sure there is no damage to the rear suspension, I am not driving it. Besides, you dont show a damaged car. lol

I'll be posting more when I am not inclined to write something quite offensive as I would at this point.

First off, I'm guessing you're okay and relatively undamaged, and I'm grateful for that.

Secondly, I'm very sorry to hear about the car. The unthinking lout had insurance, right?

and I agree, you can't show a damaged car. I have been to car shows where people have had damaged cars in the show, it's just beyond stoopid.

I can understand how you feel about this. I know how I'd feel if some idiot hurt my car, and how bitter it would be to be at a show without yours (BT, DT).

Come to Wisconsin this weekend and take your mind off of it. :)
