And something completely out of the blue
Nov. 6th, 2005 11:22 pmThis got left off my last post. Hell, it was one of the main reasons I was posting in the first place.
It finally happened. That AARP/Depends/Live-Off-The-Social-Security-Check/Forgot-My-Dentures/Old Folks Home moment that everyone, yes, everyone eventually has, but dreads.
At the Golden Corral (moooo), as Jeff and I were getting our drinks and paying, the young girl at the register asked:
"Any seniors?"
I shoulda said yes. See if I coulda got us a discount. Instead, we told her the Rich, who just paid before us (and was not asked) was 60, but we thought he looks good for his age. (he's actually 46).
I guess leaving this off of my last entry was indeed a 'senior moment'.
