Random thoughts and other stuff...
Oct. 24th, 2003 11:59 amYesterday marked the third year of happy togetherness between Jeff and I. Nice quiet evening with take-out Chinese food (the dish is one of our faves, ironically called 'Happy Family'), "Survivor" and some quality cuddle time. Life is perty damn good I guess.
This weekend will be yet another one with me playing the entire cast and crew of "This Old House" as I try and finish up some remnants of major projects and do some additional get-ready-for-winter things such as painting and caulking outside. It's hard to believe that November is right around the corner. A year to me goes by faster and faster as I accumulate them, I sometimes shake my head in disbelief as to where the time went. Big events for November for us are Bear Invasion in DC and Thanksgiving (split equally between families in PA and MD).
I see in the news today that there is to be some rather remarkable magnetic storm affecting us sometime later today. Seems the sun belched up some rather nasty celestial crapola and it's on it's way here, taking about two days to complete the trip. Once here it has the potential to affect various wireless sevices, satellites, power distribution grids and the like. I jus hope th t not ing ends p mes ing wit th nteret nd my ome ega-L N an cabl conn ct on t at to k me o lo g to fi ally ha pen. I' l b piss d.
