Zero-emissions coal fired power plants? I didnt think it would be possible to generate power by letting coal just sit in a pile.

Dumb, ya? Dumbya.

Sadly, yes. It's like a trainwreck, you cant help but watch. Sadly, a trainwreck is a minor glitch compared to the mess that this guy has been responsible for.

Aint that da truth.

The economy still hasn't totally recovered from the dot com meltdown and the terrorist attacks on NY in 2001 and it's been 5 years since it all happened. Ya think we'd have recovered by now.

Guess not.

Naw, all the recovery money has been going to ExxonMobil.

He did say that "coal is the fuel of the future" a while back. Who knew? Here we have this abundant, zero-emission fuel right under our feet. All we need to do is sacrifice some miners on occasions to get to it. Ironic how there has been a spate of mining accidents and deaths recently in the news. Cant have the war for oil take all the credit (and lives).

Oh, but did you notice that that Awful Socialist Gummint up in Canadar has Evil Anti-Competitive Regulations that meant the miners in the Saskatchewan mine incident... lived?

Phil, didn't you know that zero-emissions IS possible in faith-based science? Bushco has been so thorough in muzzling science (e.g. "WHAT global warming?", "the 'SCIENCE'of 'Intelligent Design'", and the like) that his "science advisors" practically rely upon asking the All-knowing 8-Ball for answers....

The scary part is people (with the help of the media) actually buy into all these incredible lies and moronic lip service.

I wonder if he has ANY idea that there cannot be combustion without some form of emissions. Even if none is billowing out of a smoke stack due to some kind of catalyst converter, the converter, at some point, will break down and need replacing. At that time the emissions will enter the environment. His stupidity and the fact that a great number of people in America believe him, "just cuz," really scares me.

of course zero emission is possible, if you don't look for it does it really exist. Kinda like the whole tree falling in the forest thing. So if we stop all emissions monitoring, the plant or vehicle is emmitting nothing. Science, who needs it...
