Winding down from 'woof overload'
Nov. 10th, 2003 08:10 pmBear Invasion was a BLAST.
Got to see
buffalobear as well as many old and new friends, plus a few who have been only online friends until this event. Jeff and I had an awesome time. This remains one of my all-time favorite 'bear runs', simply because it's so laid back. The hotel has gotten ridiculously expensive though, and that might factor in on me driving to and from the event or skipping it entirely if it gets much more expensive.
This year was definitely not lacking in furry cuties and incredible musclebears. In fact, this year seemed to have the most muscley dudes in attendance of any previous. Hmmm... maybe the room wasnt really all that expensive...
Ah well, Bear Invasion marks the 'official' end of the year as far as bear events go, and it starts once more next year with Hillside Bears 1. In the meantime, we'll be trying to keep in touch with friends over the winter when we can. I am due for a trip to NYC too.
Hope to see lots of you in the meantime!
