I believe The Daily Show should be required watching for the entire population. No newsmagazine, news broadcast or similar comes close to deconstructing current events, laying hypocrisy wide open and getting to the heart of an issue. I especially relish their ability to cast neocons, religious hypocrits and other idiots in a light that shows how disturbed they actually are.

I remember hearing (seeing) limited press, mostly in gay and progressive publications when it first broke. Another wave hit recently, but at a time when the armed forces are in serious dire straits recruiting-wise. So, it had a lot more 'punch' this time and more people noticed. Plus, that fuckwit Cameron's book recently came out.Too bad it's not getting MORE coverage.
