The reason for the season

The Virgin Birth. Also known mistakenly as the Immaculate Conception. It's real, people. And just perfectly timed for birth at Christmas. Some say Jim Morrison was God. I present to you the Real Lizard King. Er, make that Queen.

Speaking of Jesuses (Jesi?), here is a town having a barrel of fun with 'em, much to the scornful regret of people too serious for their own skin.

Speaking of automatons, the U.K. is already considering the future, specifically of robot rights. You'd see that happen here in the U.S., o' course. But only for the white, xtian robots.

Speaking of robots...

i read a science fiction years ago. It was the far future and all humans were doing was constantly partying. Human had genetically modified other animal to be intelligent. Pigs were intelligent and were trying to take over the civilization. And the robots had formed a union and were on strike for civil rights. The novel was a lot of fun!
best regards,
pete

I have to pick a nit.

The Virgin Birth and the Immaculate Conception, are, in fact, two totally separate events.

I quote from Wikipedia:
The Immaculate Conception is a Roman Catholic dogma that asserts that Mary, the mother of Jesus, was preserved by God from the stain of original sin at the time of her own conception.

I stand corrected! (and I should have known better. This is what I get for posting when half awake.)

But only for the white, xtian robots.

You left out 'hetrosexual'.

Yeah, I did. You wont see any robosexuals getting any 'special' rights.

Earl will get a kick out of this (being a reptile fanatic). I know some species can "alter" their sex, like some wrasse's (tropical fish). I know Croc's/Aligators and turtles can have their sex determined by the temp of the nest.

Thanks for the cool link
