Today Jeff is taking lil' Kodi to the vet to be 'fixed'. To be honest, I dont think anything is 'broken', so why 'fix' it, but the other part of me knows that everyone around, including him, will be better off for it. He's a little terror, 50 pounds of notable energy in a ten-pound package. He chews up carpeting, furniture, has a destructive shoe fetish, prone to outbusts of sudden barking...

But we love him.

He's still a puppy, and will probably remain one for a looong time. He makes life challenging and fun for the two of us.

both our pups are 72 and 78 pounds respectively. They were fixed when we got them. They still are "puppies" 2yrs down the line now. They don't really have a destructive gig going on, but if they have a little too much seperation anxiety, well then one best hopes that they haven't left socks or boxers out (they love to chew on socks and have devoured ALL of my boxers, no one else, just mine)lol

I remember taking Turbo in. I felt like a shit, but the humane society made me do it. He'll be okay.

Turbo will always be a puppy to me. He still bounces around like one. He turns 10 this week. My how time flies.

If you EVER get a chance to watch TV, check out "The Dog Whisperer" (dumb title - great show) where Cesar Milan uses common sense and the natural behavior of dogs to "train" the human to make a more well-behaved dog. I'm serious, it works! Check it out!

Take care and good luck.
