Some big, burly dude named wooferstl seems to have declared today "Show use your specs day". After basically copying my stats from my old Big Muscle Bears profile, I realised that he wasn't referring to my specifications, rather, people were posting pictures of themselves wearing their glasses. Since I recently had to correct for my failing sight, this is now a club I can be a part of. Mom went with me when I had my tests done, but sadly, she never got to see me with my new glasses. My eyes were in worse shape than any of us thought. The specs helped me with distance, but I can't wear them for reading or close-in work.

As a fellow who also wears 'em, all my life in fact, I think men do hit upon those of us who have to wear 'em. And if you pick out the right pair, they can enhance one's looks even.

I should find a pic of my current pair, or if not, crop an existing pic to reveal 'em better.

I've been hit up on the 411 and partly due to my old specs of which I was wearing.
