Provincetown roll call

It's becoming apparent that quite a few people on my friends list have been to and/or are planning to go this year to Provincetown for 'Bear Week', July 7-14. Jeff and I were set to go last year, but due certain (and much written about here) circumstances we had to opt out. This year, however, we'll be there, staying in our newly christened Party Trailer at Coastal Acres Camping Court. I am thinking about putting together some sort of Livejournal get-together one day that would like totally rock with awesomeness or something.

Who's gonna be there? If you are, and havent, like, stealth-defriended me or sumthin, let me know. Tell your friends! Your family! The Klingons!

Ayup. Going to be there from the 7th to the 15th. My brother Tad and his partner are getting there the 14th and staying until the 21st, so we're staying an extra day to hang out with them.

Very cool. I am expecting the usual local crew will be there that usually shows up for the Chris and Paul Parties. It will be good to see them all together again. Are you attending all the festivities or doing your own thing?

Long story, ex forgot to change his will after we broke up ten years ago, he died a couple of months ago. I've got to have meetings with probate and tax attorneys to figure out what is the best way to handle all this. I don't want any of it, but on paper it's mine. Since I was going to Boston for my vacation anyway I decided to stop by in person and scope out the situation.

I have no idea when, a certain LJer in Boston wants to host my visit, so it's kinda up to him and we haven't tried to plan dates. I'm thinking probably end of August. I'll need to take a day trip up to Maine to see my Dad too.

I don't do bear runs anymore - I'm not furry, and not muscular, and not a top, and no partner. I don't need to inflict that level of rejection on myself - and I'm moving to a new city anyway.

I gave up on bear runs a few years back as well. The only vestiges of them are the Hillside weekends and this, and they are all about enjoying the area and meeting up with friends that usually show up.
