Last camping trip of the year
Oct. 4th, 2007 12:10 amOne last time for the year. Jeff and I will be heading up Friday morning to Knoebels for a long weekend of camping, fun and socializing (I wrote about the trip here, last month). After that, I will be out of free time and any serious vacationing will have to wait until next year. If anyone in LJ-Land from the area is interested, lemme know, I'll look out for you. A bunch of buds will meet us at the park on Saturday. We'll be camping at the adjoining campgrounds until Sunday. After that, the trailer gets brought home, unpacked and stored for the winter. It's kinda sad, but all things considered, we had a fair share of fun in the new digs this year.
Next year, watch out.
Next year, watch out.

Date: 2007-10-04 09:50 pm (UTC)As for my neck, last I measured it was 21 1/2 inches. As a result, buying shirts off the rack is impossible unless I want to wear a 3-4XL. I generally wear a 2XL, though some generously cut XLs fit. In my bulkier days, it was impossible to find a shirt that fit the neck, back and arms without making a visit to Omar the Tentmaker. I have discovered that today's fashions tend to be a lot looser and can be had in smaller sizes. Still, forget about the neck buttons closing.
