I almost forgot this. Again, I dont participate in most memes unless there is something about them that gives insight to the persons participating in them. Screw those "What type of flush toilet are you?" sorts of things. I couldnt care less if you score as an American Standard White Elongated Bowl with 3 Gallon Flush, a Mainstay In Office Buildings and Hotels Everywhere. Here goes:

HULAGHULAGLAG: From the web comic "Jerk City", this phrase comes up often. To quote the glossary on the site:

HUGLAGHALGHALGHAL, interj.
An all-purpose sound, denoting the act of performing oral sex, the act of receiving oral sex, taking drugs, writing your Congressman, misdialing your party and getting that annoying series of tones, or sitting perfectly still and making no noise whatsoever.

I tend to use it as an icon in similar situations.


gorillanips: This is one I made, it's usage is always sexual in nature, but will be used when responding to a post showing ported cylinder heads, high horsepower engines, heavy workout results and whatever else turns my crank. See "HULAGHULAGLAG".



territories: From the Rush song from the album Power Windows of the same name, it's a snippet of the lyrics. From 1985, the lyrics speak of machinations of war.

They shoot without shame
In the name of a piece of dirt
For a change of accent
Or the colour of your shirt
Better the pride that resides
In a citizen of the world
Than the pride that divides
When a colourful rag is unfurled

These days the lyrics have a stronger meaning.


three phase: This one I shrunk to fit LJ icon constraints. It's an animated diagram of magnetic flux flow in a three-phase generator. I use it for techy posts or to confuse people.


clippy suicide: This one is there mainly for the absurdity of computer software in general being written in a way to think that it knows what we are trying to do with it. Clippy has been loathed since his inception as a MS Office assistant.


what the truck: One of those bizarre anigifs from b3ta.com shrunk down to the 100x100 realm. Used to indicate improbability and absurdity.


cirque du so gay: This one is of me taken at a Cirque du Soleil show in Baltimore. Jeff and I took Mom to see it. She mostly enjoyed it, but had a hard time hearing the narration and music. The pic is of me holding one of the original masks used in the show that they had for sale. Used for various posts and responses.
