greatbearI'd been putting off cleaning out the chimneys and the stoves for various reasons (not the least of which was just being lazy about it). Saturday morning, with the nasty weather forecast for later in the weekend I scurried up various ladders checking and prepping for the worst, and I gathered up my brushes and rods and tackled the chimneys as well. For kicks, I dressed somewhat for the part:
The hat works well for Groundhog Day as well.
Today was spent cleaning the house, dismantling the living room stove for cleaning and adjustments, plus shampooing the carpeting after all the messy work was done. There is now a nice fire heating the entire upstairs quite efficiently once again.
Anyone need their chimney cleaned? ;)
