Spring is (grudgingly) in the air!
Feb. 29th, 2004 12:18 amAh, it sure did feel good to spend some time outside today. I spent it washing and detailing cars, which I will continue tomorrow. The Cooper gets a serious working over with the Zymol, a rotation of the tires, and maybe even a CB (!) install tomorrow, Jeff's truck gets an oil change, brake inspection and a good washing away of the winter nasties as well. Mom's car gets oil and a tire rotation as well. The Mini Cooper will soon be getting some performance mods (pulley/intake/exhaust/chip) as well as a set of gauges for boost, oil pressure, oil temp, water temp and volts. I HATE the fact that this car has idiot lights for everything. I got cheated out of the paltry temp gauge when I got the Nav option. I am a certifiable info freak, and I hate driving around relying on 'replace engine now' lights.
I am more than welcoming this hint of spring, as I don't do well cooped up in bad winter weather. I got a bazillion things planned for this year, including some major construction projects. Depending on how Mom's health goes, I should have my hands full of projects (hopefully!)
I will have a nice clean car to drive up to NYC next weekend! (More info on this in a later posting.)
