That album cover meme

There seems to be a meme spreading like wildfire amongst my friends list where one creates album cover art, complete with a band name and title from items randomly selected from the web. If I did not know better, most looked way real. Here is my 10 minute effort:



I never claimed to be a graphic designer. This proves it. I could easily get hooked on this, however.

My artist's name came from here, the title is from here, and the photo from this page.

Try it! Directions:

1. Use Wikipedia's Random page selector; the article title is the name of your band.
2. Use the Quotations Page's random quote generator; the last four words of the very last quotation is the title of your album.
3. Use Flickr's Most Interesting page; the third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.
4. Put them together, and post!

I am sure a few of you meme cynics will so deliciously bastardize this. Show me what y'all got.

Yeah, I saw this n did it......but wondered if I could ONLY slap it in my LJ as it looks like I cant slap it in the relevant LJ of peeps who have done it too! :(

A lot of people did this who are not in my friends list. I just had to go around linking from other friends lists to see what was out there. Almost off of these look like actual products!

When I got the combo of name, title and the cover art, I figured this would have to look like a Windham Hill release. X-D
