Spring has sprung - FINALLY
Apr. 6th, 2005 08:39 pmAaaaaaahhhh...
Today I drove home in 80+ degree weather. Got home to hear the singing of robins and to find a box of car goodies that were delivered from an order earlier in the week. Me being me, I took off my shirt and headed out to the garage for some needed fresh air and tinker time.
It is this that is my therapy.
Coming out of what might as well be called hibernation is rejuvenating. The only short-term issue for me is getting used to daylight saving time. It takes me a good two weeks or more to adjust, and the added time in the evening that gets used to it's fullest only makes waking up in the morning tougher.
Online time and LJ postings will end up being reduced as usual, but I will do what I can to keep in touch with everyone. My cell phone is always on, and I check emails regularly. This will be helped out some once I get the runs of cat5 into the garage and connect the PC I use for car stuffs into the hive mind of the collective here. The wi-fi just doesnt make it over to the building very good.
I am looking forward to my little escape in Columbus this Friday through Sunday. Plans are still a bit up in the air, but I hope tomolest meet a few of you that I've been horny for fer years so looking forward to.
