So there is a beard meme going around. Just to show what mine starts to look like by the end of winter, I grabbed a shot of it at it's worst. I am in dire need of a haircut and a beard trimming. That will happen before the end of the week. Consider this a 'before' shot:



Salt: 1, Pepper: 0. And the ghastly pale white of winter needs to go. The light from the monitor and the LED lighting on the studio desk does not help matters either.

The beard is lovely, and you are gorgeous, but it's the eyebrows that really knock me off my feet.

I often find myself doing strange eyebrow motions these days since my eyesight is getting so bad. I alternate between squinting and wide-eyed so much that a few people have noticed and asked what the deal with the eyes is.

Thing is, my eyebrows are starting to grow wild. In a few more years, I'll have ones like Andy Rooney.

Well, I tend to get uncomfortable in hotter weather with a longer beard, and when I last had it longer than I ever had it, I found it getting caught up in stuff I am working on, or pushed up in my face while I toss around when sleeping. As you can see, it gets wavy and tangly as hell too. People at work would bother me about it too, including my manager, seeing they evidently have nothing more productive to do. I countered that by sticking small screwdrivers and alignment tools into my beard saying it's great storage space. The "Osama" comments were getting tiresome as well.

In warmer weather I crop it back to a #6 or so, and often go to just a goatee for summer.
