I want one.

Yet another reason why Top Gear rules.

Oh my god, that thing looks like instant back pain. I'm the same height as the guy in the video. But I can't see myself getting all scrunched up like that for more than a few minutes at at time. AIIIEEEEE!

You'd have to be a professional contortionist to make use of that thing on a regular basis!

LOL!

That episode of Top Gear is one of my favorites! Especially when they go driving by in the back ground of the Live Newscast! Top Gear is the best car show by far!

Top Gear is by far the funniest show I've seen on TV in years! The amazing aspect of the show is that they sneak in lots of car stuff so painlessly!

LOL, yeah, every now and then you will have a segment involving a car in some way.

Kinda like MTV actually showing a music video. ;)

Then there is the whole issue of the exhaust fumes inside the building. Why didn't anyone mention anything?

I bet it was a stinker, given the two-stroke engine of 1963 vintage. I have a feeling it was used very little under power in the building for that reason and fire regs.

Thank you for this. I'll use it as an answer to any clue-free dorks in future who make snide remarks about my "tiny" Honda Civic.

Amazing little thing - that would make even the Corbin Sparrow look chunky.

Most of my friends have shut up about my Mini Cooper now that they have sat in it and found it roomier than whatever they are driving as well as some of them terrified to Sphincter Factor 9.5 as I took them on joyrides in some twisties.

Oh my God, that is totally cool. Love, love small cars like that. Hell, I'd love to get my hands on one of the original N600's I think they were called, they predated the Civic by 5-4 years and had tiny 12" wheels, baring that, the original Civic would be fine by me, or even the original blue on blue Accord hatchback. :-)

Anyway, there is something to be said about small cars like that and the ones being made today even. :-)

I knew someone who had one way back. It had a 600cc bike motor, hence the designation. Sadly, nothing he could to could keep up with the rust constantly eating the thing up, despite having a carport to keep it on.

Wow, did he live in the rust belt?

The ones I've seen seem to reside here on the west coast where rust isn't usually a problem.

Yeah, I knew they were made with a bike motor, there was a more utilitarian version of it and a more sporty one w/ a thick black frame around the back glass/liftgate, which I think was the Z600 or something like that. A fellow at my hometown church had 2 of them, one he had done up as a sled (plywood on the sides of it for Christmas time, the other one was stock.

It's a Peel! First time I've ever seen one in motion! Thanks! No cable here and dial-up precludes looking at most vids. Thanks for pointing this one out. yep, I need one!

I've seen pictures of Peels, but this is the first time I have seen one in use. What a freaking hoot. And seeing it in a Top Gear humor setting makes it completely off the hook.

Hmmmn so how are they packaged? 4 or 6 packs?

Very cool - and yes Top Gear ROCKS

I can imagine these shrinkwrapped together in two-packs at Costco.

Yes I think you are right - and then they'd fit in the back of your truck...

ahhh yes, Top Gear, the UK TV 'Car' show that remarkably eludes most of it's air time being about anything vehicular that we could practically use day to day.....marvellous, ....more more more :) LOL

Practicality is boring. Top Gear knows this. Hence the ratings. :)
