I'm still here/Random babblings
Apr. 6th, 2004 02:04 amNot much has been going on here in my absence. The house is definitely emptier with Patches gone, I had a recurrance of bad back pain this past week that I will see the doc about soon, and I have been occupying my time with work in the garage doing projects there and maintenance on all the equipment and machinery. Other than that, it's been quiet. My generator finally arrived last week, it's only been on order since the middle of November. The things are in tights supply everywhere, and tonight I watched a report on the news about the blackout of the northeast last year and how it's expected that there are more to come. Ah well, with 18.75KW surge capacity, there wont be anything I can't run off the thing. Generator party at my place if there is a blackout! lol
Tomorrow night Jeff and I will saunter on down to Herndon VA for dinner with
vacub and
fuzzcub. It's been too long since we saw those guys. Coupla cuties fer shoor.
If all goes well I will join up with at least 250 other Mini Cooper owners and cars at Deal's Gap at the end of this month for the annual "Tail Of The Dragon" Run. The allure of a road with 318 curves and twisties in an 11 mile span is a big draw, as there are people coming from all over the country as well as Canada and overseas to be there. Many pics WILL be taken.
I found this little video from South Park that is not on any current episode, and DEFINITELY not safe for work. Right-click and save before the host runs outta bandwidth.
The rich text editor for LJ still sucks.
Homestar Runner has a buncha new stuff.
That's all for now, I will have some more updates soon.
