A different, yet touching short film I found via Joe.My.God. called The Closet. Here it's a metaphor and more. Let me know your thoughts on it.

it was ok... it lost me after the imposing figure in the room towards the end, but I got the flash backs

It left me sad, but hopeful -- what more could we ask?

I thought it was great. Very touching and I realize that what we were seeing was this old man having a flashback to a day in his youth.

Sad that there are still people like him and I do think the film exemplified that well.

Sad, but hopeful. Seeing the 2 men w/ their daughter coming out of the bushes, then holding hands at the end was touching.

Beautiful.

The hooking of the pinkies really got me.
My husband and I do that all the time.

Sad but hopeful. I watched it twice. I got a different impression the first time, but I think that was not intended by the creators of the film.

That was good, but I thought R. Kelly's "Trapped in the Closet" had more punch. Little people seem to have that effect on me.

top notch.. hurrah. I sometimes wonder about any generational effects irrespective of media. In this case how the understanding and acceptance of 'stuff' by the young girl will be affected by the context in which she grows up, both good and bad! Oh my, I need to lie down now, my head hurts!
