I go and bring mom home from the hospital in about an hour. She's bored to tears in there. I think coming home will be therapy in itself.

Cliff, the guy who just left after delivering oxygen tanks and an oxygen concentrator for mom's recover is mighty damn woofy lemme tell ya! Too bad he's straight and married. LOL

I am happy to hear that your mom is leaving the hospital. I hope things go well for her.

Married does not necesarily mean straight. Maybe he has not met the right guy.He could just be another one of those guys who married a woman (and maybe even fathered some children) simply because he could not marry another guy.

Most people in the medical field will agree that being at home allows you to heal much better. I have found that now a days our hospital only keeps you there long enough to make sure you won't be in any trouble with whatever you have. Then sends you home, where your more comfortable. More relaxed, and generally heal up better. *hugs* Wish her well for me.

Great news about your mother coming home. I know the tanks can be a back-up oxygen source but I recall that you had a generator in case of a power failure. That should give you additional peace of mind.

I hope that he doctor ordered a visiting nurse to make sure your mother gets settled in without any problems.
