Trimmings

Well, the ol' winter beard is gone (Apologies to furr_a_bruin, think of it as a 'reimagining' of the beard. Or a reboot. :D ). I did the deed on Sunday night, and Jeff did not notice until I told him, this evening at dinner. ;) My face just isn't cut out to handle a long beard, it gets itchy, uncomfortable and generally a nuisance once it gets beyond a few inches, plus there's always the issue of it getting snagged in my work.

For the summer, I might go back to a goatee and shave my head. We'll see.

That's cool. I was surprised how many doctors I ran across who had seriously bushy (but, of course, well kept) beards especially during Mom's treatments and surgeries.

A couple of people have been on me to grow the whole beard and moustache combo. First problem is my moustache comes in red and the bead comes in white so I look like Colonel Sanders. Other problem and I'm reminded of a line from Joe Dirt, "You mean to tell me you are so ingrained with white trash DNA that your beard comes in all white trashy like that?" Yeah, that's me too. It would take 6 months for me to grow enough furr to get a good looking beard out of it and I'd be too annoyed with it by then. Looks good on you though.

One of my cats died just over a month ago. Her name was Rachel. She was a very sweet cat. She was 11 years old. Now I just have Samantha. She's a great cat. I had 5 cats in 1998. Now just have the one.

I have not been well, but would rather discuss that in a private message.

Well, it was not exactly flowing. I should be so lucky. Instead, it grows out wiry, tangles easily, and seems to reach a point where it starts getting snagged in my work and generally becoming uncomfortable. It's only slightly shorter than in the user pic, where before it was a lot longer.
