I started one of my first "personal" posts in a long time which touched upon, among other things, my situations at work, my seemingly continual declining physical condition, the number of projects I am currently working on and have in the planning stages. Once I looked at the increasing blocks of bleak text, I did a select all - backspace and sent the missives into oblivion. Actually, this has occurred a few times already, with the same result. The difference this time, however, is that I decided to continue with the post, using the time and space provided to give something to my dear readers to cheer them up and get them moving rather than seeking pity, making them scroll past or adding me to yet another filter list.

Here's the newest single from Goldfrapp's new album Head First. Crank it up and dance as if no one is watching. And if they are, put on a show they'll not forget anytime soon.

Goldfrapp
"Rocket"

Maybe I will get past my mental blocks and say what I really have on my mind.

Whatever words you would choose to post here is good.

I think you'd be a pretty cool guy to hang out with.

I'd like to think that I'm "a pretty cool guy to hang out with." These days, however, I am not so sure.

Here's the thing: some time ago you posted a very personal entry in which you poured out your inner feelings, which were mostly sad and pessimistic. But that post and the encouraging responses it received was very important for me, and perhaps for you too. So, if you do feel able to air your feelings, this might be the place to do it. And remember, you don't have to publish them: you can always post them as private entries. Just a thought. Hugs from me to you.

It's all part of what we all go thru in our struggle here in the world.Just like my crap with the 30 year old dickhead out at Vinyl Vicky it's part of a greater much larger picture .You should always post what you feel even if it's not what you would consider a happy post. You know, you are a cool guy and we have lots in common. I always look forward to your posts. As for your health and other situations, you create your own opportunities and are the master of your own time and space. You can change any situation with the will to do so.That's exactly what I have been doing out there in Vinyl land with dickhead.Last year I was supposed to go on this trip and I had no work,no money,I was depressed, nearing the bail out line from this cheap hotel, and totally without direction. Now I'm going to go.Change is the only thing we can actually count on happening. It is a constant. It is what saves us time and time again.

Fun song, thank you! I knew "Ooh la la" by Goldfrapp, and I love it, but hadn't looked for anything else by them.

I of course was thinking that this song takes on different meaning when sung by a man... mmmm...

As for the rest: *hugs*.

I'm looking forward to more posts from you, so I can get to know you better.

Phil,

Whatever screed, missive, etc post you put up, heck even the happy ones ARE being read by many of us, comments may or may not be left but they ARE being read non the less. It's a great way to get to know another one of us tribesmen.

The ones that go Oh there goes Phil being emo again and scrolls right on past are the ones missing out.

Hugs to you dear.

On a serious note, have you considered posting it anyway as a private entry. Leave it in the blogosphere and revisit it, maybe to summary with less weight. I do it on rare occasion...
