I am about to do something that I rarely do, and it's painful for me to do. Ask for help. I am very proud of the various accomplishments I have made in my life, most of which were done by me alone or with very little outside help. Self-sufficiency at many levels gives me peace of mind.

Those who know me know I don't handle extended injuries or illnesses well. I've been dealing with one and/or the other for some time now and it's taking it's toll. Seeing those close to me in pain also takes it's toll on me, especially when there is little/nothing I can do to help. I still try; it's my nature to do so.

I am very familiar with network firewalls. I wish I could find a similar product that prevents drama intrusion. Some happened today that is causing an increasing level of trouble at the house and it's only pissing me off along with it. This is typical of what has been going on lately. Because of the current state of affairs around here, I refuse to let issues and misunderstandings cause grief. If they do, there can be hell to pay.
