The last of the forties

Well, another natal anniversary to mark my time on this rock has come and gone.

Today I did some errands, mostly for car parts and such. Jeff was coming home early after a doctor's appointment, then we headed off to grab a nice dinner (of which I brought most of home) then to The Hippodrome (aka "The France-Merrick Theater for the Performing Arts", tell me which one rolls off the tongue easier) to see JERSEY BOYS. It was am amazing show. While our show was conveniently on my birthday night, the tickets were actually a gift given to Jeff for Xmas. So that worked out well. Both of us definitely wouldn't mind seeing the show again.

As for the whole Groundhog Day thing, when I first headed out of my burrow to head to CarQuest, no shadow. Take that as you may. I'm out of the weather prognosticating business.

It was a good day, but as has become an increasing norm for me, not one full of happiness. There is some news we received today that could turn out to be very devastating. That's all I will say at this moment.

I just so over the holidays and birthdays from now on.

Jeff getting better is most likely the coolest B-Day gift you ever got!

Don't sweat turning 50... it did kinda feel weird to me, being 50 in summer 2007... and then, after 2 weeks, I got over it! 60 is a bit more than 6 years away now, LoL!!

Edited to add that I know you are 49, but that was the day I started feeling weird that 50 was only a year away, LoL!!

The happiest of bdays to ya! 50 is just a number. It was just a number 12 (oh jeez!) years ago for me!

Car parts reminds me that I need to go to the dealer for a couple of little decorative bits that have fallen off/broken on the Beast. As to Jersey Boys (Joisey Boys??), it is a great show and well worth another visit if you can arrange it.

And hey, can you arrange decent weather next week? I'll be in Baltimore at a company meeting (sigh, wish I could finally meet you gents) and I'm a weather wimp after living in SoCal for almost 5 years! Please? Pretty please?? I'll buy you a cookie!
