Blargh. I had my nerve conduction tests done today, I'll get results in a couple days. The problem of the now is, it still feels as though I am having the tests. Getting zapped by those little impulses from the equipment was no big deal, but I swear it "started something" and the sensations I had been putting up with (though decreasing) are having some sort of party this evening. I don't need to be reminded that I am falling apart. lol

No, this was done around my ankles and feet, and they used these adhesive preconfigured electrode packs, basically a paper template that puts all the electrodes in the proper position just by sticking the whole thing in place. They used four packages per foot, and on both feet.

The needles in the hands are done primarily for carpal tunnel tests, which, ironically, given the amount of abuse my hands have been put through for nearly 50 years, I don't suffer from.

That is the only test that I swore I would never have done again. It hurt like living hell. He could have just asked me, it was kind of obvious and no revelations were experienced due to the test.
