For the entire day I've been unable to access my friends list view here on LJ to catch up on everyone's stuff. Seems I am not alone, but at the same time, it appears to be a fairly isolated problem. The status page shows all systems go, but there are a few folk leaving tickets for tech support. I've done a bit of individual friends reading, but it's remarkably tedious compared to the all-encompassing friends list view. I guess it's just another temporary (hopefully) failing that happens when the overlords of LJ push updates and unwanted features into the system. I can read my own pages, individual friend's pages, and, so far, all of their own f-list pages. I can also, obviously, post entries as well as comment elsewhere. Try to look at my own f-list? 500 Error.

This site is becoming less relevant all the time. I only stay here for two or 3 people now. It's too bad it has degraded to this,it was a great site back in 2004 when I joined and for a few years after that as well but once Moskow took over it has been nothing but shit.

Yep.. they are having problems! In posting today? I could not access Poll Creator. Then .. most of the stuff on the posting page, like settings for friends? Was missing. Moods was missing! Etc! .. Not sure what Is goin' on!! maybe the 3 solar flares from the sun the other day is makin' things quirky! LOL!

Needless to say, I haven't the slightest idea how any of this actually works....so far, my pages seem unaffected. But I've been seeing a lot of notices from LJ Maintenance lately - many more than usual. If they are to be believed, they've had to fix accounts in batches and have made good progress. Thus far, I find that when they've had to go in and fix errors, they've extended my subscription to make up for the inconvenience, which is rather nice of them.

ps...the other day I found another thistle in the yard, and applied your advice as in 'this'll have to come out!" :0)
