Life is fragile - treat it well

I visited my best friend's dying father at home today. His deterioration has been very fast, and it surprised a lot of people. So tough to see. Feelings of helplessness pervades everyone around him. Comfort is found in the presence of others and their well wishing and recounting all the good old times. His father reacts well to these.

It bears repeating - live each day as if it may be your last. Love your friends as if this day could be their last.
