Meh, bah, bleah

I'm still here, hope nobody missed me.

I am currently in the midst of some odd ailment that I am not going to bother the doc with yet. I'm listless, forever tired and essentially waking up exhausted with soreness in my legs and especially my back. I'm probably having spasms in my sleep again. I just hope to snap out of it soon, since I cannot stand feeling like this. I got a million things to do, I just need the energy to do them.

For the past quarter century it seems as though the be-all and end-all of Gay male health care was simply the avoidance of HIV infection. Nothing else seemed to matter. If you could go out and have fun and have sex and perhaps eventually find Mr. Right without contracting HIV, you've won the race. And of course, you don't need a doctor's help to do that. But this emphasis on HIV prevention doesn't exempt us from all the other wonderful maladies that human beings are subject to. Do you have a doctor? What is your insurance like? Don't let whatever it is that's affecting your health from getting out of control.

Yep, I have a doctor and decent insurance (for now). I'm sure he's seen enough of me in recent years, but I am not the kind to go rushing in right away until I feel it's warranted. This is most likely a cold/flu gotten from some people at work kind enough to come in and share it with everyone else, saving their sick leave as added vacation time.
